Starbucks Japan Introduces New Sakura Drink for Cherry Blossom Season

Last week, Starbucks Japan unveiled its Valentine’s Day cup collection. Now, the coffee company is set to release a new drink in celebration of the upcoming cherry blossom season this March.

Dubbed Sakura, the drink arrives in a themed cup boasting vibrant pink hues and pastel yellow tones throughout. Arriving with a domed lid, the packaging highlights graphics of flowers and petals, as well as strawberries. The beverage itself features a combination of sakura infused with creamy vanilla, along with chunks of strawberry jelly for added texture.

Starbucks’ Sakura chilled drink retails for ¥219 JPY (approximately $2 USD) and will be available at convenience stores in Japan on February 9.
