A Closer Look at COMME des GARÇONS x Gucci's New Tote Bag
The limited-edition accessory is now available.
UPDATE (October 14, 2021): Gucci and COMME des GARÇONS‘ new tote bag, which was teased earlier this week by the Italian fashion house, is set to drop soon.
Following the duo’s 2018 plastic paper tote bag and 2019 floral iteration, the new style arrives in a sleek black colorway featuring Gucci’s signature vertical green-red-green stripes over CdG’s white logo. Surrounding the entire silhouette is a see-through outer “shell,” giving it an overall shiny look. As for the interior, both brands’ logos can be found on the pocket sleeve.

ORIGINAL STORY (October 12, 2021): In celebration of its 100th anniversary, Gucci has been working on a number of collaborations and projects these past few months, including its recent team-up with Balenciaga on the “Aria” collection. For its latest partnership, the Italian fashion house has announced that it will be releasing a capsule collection with COMME des GARÇONS.
Taking to Instagram stories, the label has confirmed that its first drop with CdG will be a tote bag, which is set to release exclusively via Gucci Vault. For those unfamiliar with Gucci Vault, it is the brand’s newest online retail experience that not only operates as an e-commerce platform but also features the house’s digital archive.
The design of the upcoming tote has not been revealed yet. The duo’s very first style in 2018 arrived in the form of a plastic paper tote bag dressed in Gucci’s iconic green and red stripe motif over CdG’s logo. The following year, a floral iteration was introduced.
The new COMME des GARÇONS x Gucci tote bag will drop on October 15 exclusively at Gucci Vault.
