A sleek, militaristic take on the OG.

Building on the hype of its Dunk silhouettes, Nike is adding a new colorway to its Dunk High Up, or Dunk High Rebel, lineup. Dressed in “Cargo Khaki,” the shoe gives the original ’80s basketball icon a lift with an elevated midsole and wedged shape, staying true to its origins while showcasing a sporty aesthetic.

The upper is donned in premium leather, while the overlays, laces, vamp and heel are drenched in the titular shade. The Swoosh is elevated with a mini version sitting atop in pure black, while the sneaker’s collar and front outline of the quarter are in the same color. Rows of stitching pass through the quarter’s rear to the collar, giving the Dunk a premium touch — the outsoles, on the other hand, bear a brown exterior, giving rise to a striking four-toned look. The rest of the quarter, collars and toe boxes are in “Summit White.”

The Nike Dunk High Up in “Cargo Khaki” will hit select retailers and Nike’s official website on December 17 at 11 p.m. HKT (December 16 at 10 a.m. ET) for $120 USD.
