Kanye West Rumored to Succeed Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton Men's

Following the Off-White™ designer’s untimely death last month.

Rumor has it that Kanye West will succeed Virgil Abloh as Louis Vuitton Men’s creative director. The news comes after the Off-White™ designer died of cancer in late November.

According to The Sun, Ye feels that he owes it to Abloh to continue his work at the fashion house. A source told the publication: “Kanye is devastated about Virgil’s death because they had been friends for years and worked together a lot. They shared a similar vision and now Kanye feels he owes it to Virgil to continue his work at Louis Vuitton.”

The two met as interns at Fendi back in 2009, marking the beginning of their friendship. Abloh became the artistic director of Donda in 2010 and the pair continued to work together on multiple projects.

Nothing has been confirmed as of now, but stay tuned for more updates on the next designer to take over Louis Vuitton Men’s.
