Meet Yinka Ilori, the New Homeware Designer Adding Vibrant Accents to Your Home

The British-Nigerian creative’s inaugural launch features home textiles, tabletop accessories and more.

Yinka Ilori is an up-and-coming homeware designer about to take over your Instagram feed. Inspired by his heritage and childhood, the British-Nigerian creative has released his first-ever collection ranging from textiles to tableware.

“It’s a colorful celebration of two cultures expressed through abstract, technicolor pattern and contemporary craft,” Ilori shares in a press release. “Each has their own narrative and back-story, meant to instill a sense of optimism and joy, to act in their own small way as a distraction to the dark times that we’re facing this time this year.”

The resulting collection, boasting vibrant hues, aims to spread positivity and works as “a form of creative hedonism on social media feeds.” Cushions and rugs are adorned with geometrical patterns dressed in a bright palette. The same theme is continued on a set of trays, plates, bowls and cups perfect for serving as accents to your table.

Peep Yinka Ilori’s designs in the gallery above. You can head over to the designer’s website to shop the goods.
