Meet Byredo's Latest Perfume Scent, "Mixed Emotions"

Continuing to expand his makeup line with Isamaya Ffrench, Byredo‘s Ben Gorham has now unveiled the latest addition to the brand’s cult-loved perfume line. Dubbed “Mixed Emotions,” the new scent arrives just in time for the warmer seasons.
“We’re in the business of bottling up emotions. I hope that people read the label and identify with that sentiment in its simplest form, and then find something deeper to relate to: the juxtaposition between the familiar and the unfamiliar,” Gorham describes the fragrance. The unisex formula serves as a reflection of today’s turbulent and unexpected times, blending instability with familiarity. The resulting perfume boasts top notes of maté and black currant, heart notes of Ceylon black tea and violet leaves, and a base of birch wood and papyrus.
