Sandal weather is officially here, and Birkenstock is celebrating with a new collection of slip-on shoes. The “Big Buckle” collection revamps three of the footwear brand’s hero silhouettes — the Arizona, Madrid and Gizeh — with oversized silver hardware.
Arriving in clean white leather along with earthy colorways “Mud Green” and “Almond,” the Arizona’s dual straps are adorned with hefty buckle closures. The Gizeh, a thong-style slip-on, features the oversized fastening at the quarter lateral while the Madrid, a simple slide, boasts a single buckle at the vamp strap. Keeping with Birkenstock tradition, all three sandals are constructed with a rubber cork midsole.
