Escape to the Countryside With LOolios' Landscape-Printed Swimwear
The emerging brand introduces lush swimsuits and shorts.
LOolios, a Spanish brand building a dedicated following with its landscape-printed separates, is launching a collection of unisex swimwear inspired by impressionist art. The range of one-piece swimsuits and drawstring shorts are printed with lush renditions of lavender fields and countryside hills drawn by LOolios founder Faisal Alfadda.
“This collection was drawn up during a delicate, strange time,” Alfadda said. “It was born from an ideal of freedom, from an idyllic landscape to escape to.” The designer explained that his illustrations embody a road trip taken across southern Spain and northern Portugal. “I went through a highway full of beautiful fields of lavender and the smell stayed in my mind while creating my artworks for this collection,” he recalled. Embracing the power of imagination, Alfadda re-created his scenic trip with the collection, offering a bit of escape from the pandemic. “We are all together in this…sometimes our imaginations can be real,” he concluded.
LOolios’ Spring/Summer 2021 swimwear collection launches at the LOolios website on April 9.
