Netflix Announces 'To All the Boys' Spinoff Series Starring Anna Cathcart
It’s Kitty Covey’s turn to take the spotlight.
Back in February, Netflix‘s film adaptation of Jenny Han‘s To All the Boys trilogy came to an end. Just when we thought the TATB franchise was over, Deadline has announced that a series spinoff is in early development.
The untitled half-hour romantic comedy project will star Anna Cathcart as the lead, who will reprise her original role as Kitty Covey. No specific details have been disclosed yet, but Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment, the companies behind the development of To All the Boys: Always and Forever, will be behind this upcoming show. “Netflix has been mulling the idea of building integrated film-TV universes with feature films and TV series as part of the same franchise,” Deadline stated.
