diptyque Introduces Summer-Ready Scent "Ilio"

Explore the upcoming collection, which additionally features citrusy candles and body sprays.

Adding to its lineup of cult-loved scents, diptyque is set to introduce a new summer-ready fragrance dubbed “Ilio.” The perfume arrives alongside a collection of fresh, citrusy products ranging from candles to body sprays.

Celebrating the brand’s 60th anniversary, the range takes inspiration from the Mediterranean region, where diptyque’s co-founders Yves Coueslant and Desmond Knox-Leet frequently visited. The packaging for each product is complete with colorful illustrations by artist Luke Edward Hall to further accentuate the summer mood.

“Ilio,” which comes in eau de toilette and hair mist options, channels the warm summer air with scents of prickly pear, bergamot, iris and jasmine. Meanwhile, the “Citronnelle” candles are dominated by lemongrass for a tangy, cool aroma. A similar scent is found in the summer body spray, which is packed with the essential oils of lemongrass, geranium and lemon eucalyptus. Rounding out the range is the Vinaigre de toilette, a perfume boasting notes of lavender, rosemary and thyme.

Explore the full Summer 2021 collection above. The new diptyque goods are set to release on June 4.
