Miu Miu Reworks Vintage Levi's Denim Pieces in Latest Collaboration
Arriving as part of the Italian fashion label’s commitment to sustainability.
Pushing for sustainable and circular product cycles, Miu Miu has now teamed up with Levi’s to rework the American brand’s vintage denim items. The collaboration arrives as part of the Italian label’s ongoing Upcycled by Miu Miu initiative.
Men’s 501® jeans from the ’80s and ’90s are updated in true Miu Miu fashion with floral embellishments and pink-colored gems across the back and front pockets. The same theme is continued on the trucker jacket, which boasts contrast detailing on the shoulders and puffed sleeves. Elsewhere, bold red, silver and black motifs take over the vintage pieces to further express the brand’s free-spirited aesthetic. The accompanying campaign sees the collection modeled by Miu Miu’s muses Emma Corrin, Lila Moss and Georgia Palmer.
The reworked Levi’s x Miu Miu designs will be officially unveiled at London’s Selfridges and Shanghai’s IAPM in mid-May. A wider release will follow on May 24 via Miu Miu’s web store and Dover Street Market Los Angeles.
