A Ma Maniére, an Atlanta-based boutique founded by James Whitner, has joined forces with Nike to rework the Air Jordan 3. The sneaker arrives in a clean, minimal design perfect for your casual fits all year round.
Inspired by women and their role in our early lives, Whitner chose to revamp the AJ3 in honor of his mother’s first Jordan silhouette she ever owned. Channeling her generous spirit, the kicks boast several details crafted in her image. Crafted from full-grain, tumbled leather material, the upper comes with high-pile suede overlays dressed in muted shades of gray and “Muslin.” For an added touch of luxury, the pair features silk-like quilted lining on the inside. Elsewhere, the lace aglets feature Whitner’s mantra, “Work Harder,” while each heel tab arrives with Whitner’s mother’s words of wisdom in her original handwriting.
