Apple To Redesign AirPods and Launch AirPods Pro 2

Here’s when the two models are reportedly releasing.

Around two weeks ago, more rumors about the AirPods 3 surfaced on the Internet. Now, Bloomberg has confirmed that Apple is set to give its entry-level AirPods a new look and is preparing for the launch of the AirPods Pro 2.

This will mark the first update of the AirPods since the release of the second generation in March 2019. Reports have stated that the redesign will somehow mimic the look of the AirPods Pro. “The earbuds will come with a new case and shorter stems poking out of the bottom of each one,” Bloomberg shared. As for the AirPods Pro 2, the upcoming model will reportedly come with “updated motion sensors with a focus on fitness tracking.”

As of now, no further information has been disclosed. The AirPods 3 are expected to drop sometime this year, while the AirPods Pro 2 will release in 2022. Stay tuned while we wait for more information.
