Meet CD Femme, the London-Based Brand That Focuses on Fashion and Community

Aiming for a more engaged, active and empowered future.

After having launched in 2020, British womenswear brand CD Femme has unveiled its second collection, continuing its mission of rewriting the rule book on how fashion can positively represent customers and become active within communities.

The capsule blends modern staples with punchy, playful designs and slogans, from check motifs to tie-dye prints, across a series of T-shirts, shirts, cropped sweatshirts, shorts, pants, as well as dresses and co-ords. As for stand-out pieces, the Ever Top and Short are guaranteed to make a monochrome statement, while the neutral-toned In Check Crop Top and Trouser are a perfect combination for the warmer weather.

In a commitment to quality, longevity and execution above volume and pricing, CD Femme’s philosophy is “buy once, love forever,” driven by inclusivity, advocacy and community while promoting awareness, education and discussion around issues that affect their wider world.

“Most brands build a community with the clothes as the starting point – I want to flip this with CD Femme and give fashion and the community equal focus from day one,” explained Phiney Pettman, the label’s Creative Director. “We design with this in mind, but we also want our audience to actively shape how we develop. Our community are the heart of the brand, the way this filters through to design is about conjuring a designer brand experience and aesthetic that is accessible to everyone, where we can share empowering stories and find ways to give back through Charity, Advocacy and Representation.”
