NOAH Continues To Mine the adidas Originals Archive
NOAH x adidas Originals team up on a new collection of footwear and apparel.
NOAH and adidas Originals continue their partnership with a Spring/Summer 2021 collection that retools two archival sneakers: the adidas Probound and Rod Laver Super.
Standing in sharp contrast to the duo’s previous release, a punchy, leopard-printed Gazelle; the Probound is constructed of a muted gray upper accented with blue stripes at the lateral and red paneling around the collar. The Rod Laver Super takes a similarly toned-down approach with a white mesh upper overlaid with gray suede paneling. A green outsole and blue tongue tag add understated hits of color.
Rounding out the collection is a range of athletics-inspired workwear that merge adidas’ performance-ready sensibility with NOAH’s street smart aesthetic. A white cotton jacket and painter’s paints boast adidas’ Three Stripes, giving the set a tracksuit feel. An actual tracksuit — comprised of a collared jacket and sweatpants — is rendered in pastel florals, a polished take on running wear.
The NOAH x adidas Originals SS21 collection releases on June 17 at the adidas website.
