These Vegetable Hermès Birkin Bags Are Unbeleafable
Made out of real asparagus, cucumbers and cabbage.
Last week, Hermès revealed unique iterations of its iconic Birkin bag. Shared on its official Instagram account, the French fashion house linked up with artist, designer and publisher Ben Denzer to create three designs made entirely out of vegetables.
Known for his artistic concept of pairing books with ice cream, Denzer incorporated his quirky style into the luxe accessory by arranging asparagus stalks, cucumber slices and cabbage leaves to create one-of-a-kind silhouettes. The creative also put together fruit iterations made out of bananas and apples. However, those pieces weren’t able to make their official debut.
Take a closer look at the creations above and below. Head over to Denzer’s website for more of his work.
