Araks Recruits Courtney Trop of Always Judging for Braided Swimwear Capsule

Take a look at the fashion blogger-turned-influencer’s latest project.

Araks has linked with blogger-turned-influencer Courtney Trop for a capsule collection of covetable swimwear. The founder of OG fashion blog Always Judging, Trop herself stars in the collection’s lookbook.

The Daria bikini, a triangle top and high-cut bottom, is constructed with braided straps that weave together contrasting colors. The Dasha one piece arrives in neon orange — a bold, high-vis option — with similarly braided straps. Introducing hardware into the mix, the Daphne bikini and Devon one piece boast anchor-shaped charms, a playful nod to the nautical nature of swimwear.

“This collaboration is an exploration of merging two very strong and distinct aesthetics,” Araks Yeramyan said, referencing her own minimal sensibility and Trop’s grunge-influenced look. “In the beginning, I was nervous about how and if our aesthetics would come together, but I knew in that nervousness there was potential for something really special to happen.”

The Courtney Trop x Araks swimwear collection ranges from $125 to $350 and launches soon at the Araks website.
