Universal Studios Japan To Open New Immersive 'Demon Slayer' Attraction
Here’s when it’s opening.
Universal Studios Japan has announced that it is working on a new attraction centered on the popular manga series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. This news comes after the recent opening of the theme park’s Super Nintendo World.
In the IRL world of Demon Slayer, guests will be able to “experience the fluid swordsmanship, and even the breathing, of the hero Tanjiro Kamado and his fellow demon slayers amid fierce battles that unfold before their very eyes,” as per the park’s statement. Of course, a range of limited-edition co-branded merch and themed food will be available throughout the premises. USJ is set to roll out promotional videos of the upcoming attraction via its official Twitter account starting on July 1.
No other details have been disclosed yet, so stay tuned while we wait for more information. USJ’s Demon Slayer attraction is scheduled to open to the public from September 17, 2021 until February 13, 2022.
