Kim Kardashian's SKIMS Is the Official Underwear Brand for Team USA at Tokyo Olympics

Athletes A’ja Wilson, Alex Morgan and more will be wearing sleep and loungewear designs by the brand.

Kim Kardashian‘s underwear label SKIMS will officially be dressing Team USA’s female athletes participating in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and Paralympics.

“Ever since I was 10 years old, I’ve heard every single detail about the Olympics from my stepdad. As I would watch the athletes compete, I would grow to understand the dedication and honor being a part of the Olympics embodied,” the reality star and entrepreneur made the unexpected announcement on Instagram. “I traveled with my stepdad and family to all different cities for the Olympic trials, the Olympics and track meets of Caitlyn Jenner‘s and at every stop, I would buy an Olympic T-shirt as a souvenir.” She further explained in a press release that through this partnership, she aims to “show [her daughters] that anything is possible if you work hard enough.”

Continuing the brand’s focus on fit and comfort, the Team USA capsule features sleep and loungewear pieces made using ultra-soft and breathable fabrics. The accompanying campaign pictures star athletes Alex Morgan, Haley Anderson, Scout Bassett, Dalilah Muhammad and A’ja Wilson wearing garments ranging from bras and briefs, to body-hugging shorts and leggings.

Take a closer look at the SKIMS collection above. The Team USA capsule range will release exclusively online on July 12.
