Meet Junes, a Sustainable Bag That Gives Back to Women and the Planet

Made from a revolutionary bio-knit that is entirely biodegradable.

Introducing Junes, a collection of sustainably made reusable bags designed to carry almost anything.

With the environment in mind, Junes bags are constructed from a durable Bio-Knit fabric made entirely from recycled plastic bottles. Better still, the material is biodegradable due to the addition of new CiCLO technology, meaning that microfibres will not pollute oceans or landfills. The line boasts a series of shapes and sizes, from small pouches to large tote bags, making them perfect for any occasion. The mesh knit creates a modern, semi-opaque design, arriving in a series of vibrant colors and striking motifs.

In addition to the brand’s eco-friendly practices, founder Janean Mann aims to empower women and protect them from gender-based violence. By partnering with an all-female sewing cooperative in Juarez, she helps women to sustainably support their families with safe and stable opportunities, while a portion of all sales is donated to the Global Fund for Women, an international non-profit that fights for gender justice.

View the collection in the imagery above. The bags are available now via the Junes webstore, with prices ranging from $14 USD to $54 USD.
