Deba Hekmat Stuns in Loveness Lee's SS21 Jewelry Campaign

The model defies Western beauty standards.

London-based jeweler Loveness Lee has tapped Deba Hekmat for its Spring/Summer 2021 campaign, picturing the model in the brand’s fresh collection of statement jewelry.

Crafted from recycled silver, the collection boasts a range of organic shapes and unique textures. Each handmade piece is entirely individual, finished in a mixture of silver and gold tones. Standout offerings include the Adara pendant necklace, the oversized Dzovag hoops and the Reva earrings, huggies that mimic the shape of flowing water.

Deba, known for being “unapologetically Kurdish,” defies Western beauty standards, instead standing for body positivity and embracing your natural self. “I am 5’5, hairy as f*ck, I have a unibrow, and a lot to say,” she explains.

“At Loveness Lee we strive to work with women who want to reflect beauty in its most natural form, who aren’t afraid to challenge the status quo and who stand up for what they believe in,” said Founder and Creative Director Loveness Lee. “We hope by working with Deba, women from around the world will see the beauty within themselves and feel they are being represented within the world of jewelry.”

Take a look at the imagery in the gallery above, and head to the Loveness Lee website to shop the SS21 collection.
