Would You Cop These Reworked Apple x Reebok Club C Sneakers?
The design was released in the early ’90s as a gift for the tech giant’s employees.
Did you know Apple gifted its employees co-branded Reebok Club C sneakers back in the early ’90s? Custom footwear designer @andu.c has shared his very own reworked version of the rare shoe.
The kicks are given a vintage makeover with a washed-out ivory hue on the white leather upper. Taking center stage is Apple’s rainbow logo from the ’70s and ’80s stamped onto the tongue tag and cut-out windows on the laterals. The midsoles, which are usually embossed with Reebok’s branding, add to the vintage feel with uneven coloring.
The design has never been officially released, but has been sold for almost $30,000 USD at an auction in 2017. Take a closer look at the custom shoes above.
