BLACKPINK's New Song Might Be Titled "TOUCHDOWN"

A demo of the potential track has been leaked online.

While Lisa is gearing up for her solo debut, BLACKPINK‘s fans have found that the K-pop group might be releasing a new track titled “TOUCHDOWN.” Nothing has been confirmed as of now, but a demo track allegedly sung by a YG Entertainment trainee has surfaced online.

LIL 27 CLUB, a producer known to have worked with artists like BTS, TXT and ENHYPEN, took to Instagram to share the “full version” of the unreleased song. Based on the songwriter’s Q&A session on Instagram Stories, it seems as if the track was originally produced for a HYBE artist. “‘TOUCHDOWN’ is a song for the girls, but what I uploaded was the first sketch version demo and this version was not sung by BLACKPINK,” he stated.

There hasn’t been any confirmation on whether “TOUCHDOWN” is for BLACKPINK or another K-pop act. However, fans are speculating that if this song was actually written for the quartet, it could be a part of Jennie and Rosé‘s duo unit, which might feature a collaboration with Dua Lipa or Ariana Grande. Stay tuned as we learn more.
