Indya Moore x Tommy Hilfiger Launch Gender-Fluid Collaboration
A capsule designed to celebrate inclusivity.
For the Pre-Fall 2021 season, Tommy Hilfiger has teamed up with Indya Moore to create a collection of gender-fluid garments. The range celebrates beauty and diversity, emphasizing that there are no boundaries to style.
The partnership is an extension of Hilfiger’s “People’s Place” program, an initiative that works to advance representation and inclusivity in fashion. “Great style knows no boundaries, and this has always driven my dream to create fashion for all… This collection embodies everything we stand for. From the design process to the campaign, the ‘TommyXIndya’ partnership is here to make people feel seen, accepted and included,” the designer spoke of the collection.
“This capsule goes beyond great style… Too many people are made to feel that something is wrong with them just for being themselves. It means everything to me to know that with our capsule, no one is made to feel wrong or different or broken,” Moore explained. The range, which they designed to empower their community, is comprised of Oxford button-down shirts, polo tops, bandeaus and pinstriped blazers with Tommy Hilfiger branding throughout. “IM” branding is spotted in a collegiate font with lotus flower motifs, while Moore’s hometown of the Bronx is printed on select garments.
