Hajime Sorayama Designs Golden BE@RBRICK 1000% for 2G Tokyo
The popular figure gets a robotic makeover.
Hajime Sorayama has joined forces with Medicom Toy to design a new BE@RBRICK model for Japanese retailer 2G.
The upcoming release comes after the silver iteration, which dropped in 100% and 400% iterations earlier this year. The robot illustrator has given the 1000% figure a golden makeover, referencing his Sexy Robot series. Just like the artwork, the model arrives with the iconic neon visor in pink, accompanied by pink lips. The back of the design is stamped with 2G’s metallic silver logo to round out the look.
Measuring 700 mm tall, the Hajime Sorayama x 2G BE@RBRICK 1000% is priced at ￥57,200 JPY (approximately $521 USD) and will release via 2G Tokyo and 2G Osaka through a lottery closing on July 18. Head to Medicom Toy’s website to learn more about the collectible toy.
