Jil Sander Plays With Texture and Shapes in Resort 2022 Collection

Jil Sander has returned with another women’s collection for the Resort 2022 season. Sticking to Lucie and Luke Meier‘s approach of balancing the best of both worlds, the range explores pure sculptural shapes and experiments with diverse fabrics.
Tailored wool jackets, belted cotton dresses, graphic skirts and pant skirts feature ruffles, studs and pintuck seams. Elsewhere, multicolored dresses are crafted with tassels on the shoulders, while accessories like the rectangular handbags are covered in feathers. Other standouts include the fuzzy green mohair coat, corded net dress in yellow with exaggerated sleeves and white dress boasting an oversized petalled collar, as well as the cashmere-shaped knit bra styled under a brown blazer and matching pants.
