ORIGINAL STORY (September 26, 2021): Following numerous memes from the first installment, Emily in Paris is set to return to Netflix for its second season.
This time around, the cast heads to not Paris but Saint-Tropez, where Emily (played by Lily Collins) goes on holiday in her not-so-French outfits. She reunites with her girlfriends Camille (Camille Razat) and Mindy (Ashley Park), posing for selfies and attending parties. Emily, who is now a social media influencer, rests by the pool while commenting: “No, I’ll post it later. I’m on vacation.”
The second season comes after the show’s producers faced controversy for bribing their way into the Golden Globes. Despite the backlash and criticism for its tackiness, Emily in Paris reached over 58 million views within the first month of its premiere.
