Korean Zombie Series 'All of Us Are Dead' Ranks 1st on Netflix Global Top 10
Following ‘Squid Game’ and ‘Hellbound.’
All of Us Are Dead, the latest zombie series from South Korea, is the third K-drama to rank first worldwide on Netflix, following Squid Game and Hellbound.
The horror TV show launched on the streaming platform on January 28, taking only a day to reach the top spot in the world’s top 10 programs. In addition to the international ranking, the title has made the top 2 in 25 countries such as Korea, Germany and France, and has taken first place in 25 regions including Japan, Mexico and India.
The news comes after Netflix’s increased interest in Korean content. The platform revealed that it invested $700 million USD to produce more from the country, leading to the premiere of Hellbound, The Silent Sea and Single’s Inferno, just to name a few.
