Apple Unveils 'WeCrashed' Trailer Starring Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto
The upcoming series is based on the fall of the WeWork empire.
Apple TV+ is set to premiere WeCrashed, a new TV show based on the crash of the WeWork empire. The trailer features Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto as the series’ lead characters Rebekah and Adam Neumann.
Once considered as the biggest up-and-coming startup, WeWork had to pull out from an initial public offering (IPO) in 2019 with the company rushing a $5 million USD debt. In a few weeks’ time, it had to lay off thousands of employees after suffering major losses.
WeCrashed, which will premiere with three episodes followed by five weekly installments, additionally features Kyle Marvin, America Ferrera and O-T Fagbenle. The show is created by Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello, with Hathaway and Leto serving as two of the executive producers.
