The Famous Homer Simpson Bush Meme Appears on adidas Stan Smith Sneaker
Accompanying the Marge Simpson-themed Superstar.
adidas seems to be expanding its lineup of footwear created in partnership with The Simpsons franchise. Shortly after revealing a Superstar design featuring Marge Simpson and her curly blue hair, images of a new Stan Smith highlighted with the famous Homer Simpson bush meme have surfaced online.
Unlike the Marge Simpson iteration, this Stan Smith arrives in a clean all-white makeup on the upper, while Homer Simpson’s name is embossed in gold on the sides in replacement of “Stan Smith” branding. The Simpsons theme is continued on the tongue with a portrait of Homer while the franchise’s logo is found on the green-colored footbed. The heel tab marks the highlight of the shoe as Homer is seen disappearing into a green bush-like fuzzy material, replicating the viral meme.
Not much information is available just yet, but we’re expecting this pair to drop via adidas and select retailers in the coming months.
