Casablanca's FW22 Eyewear Collection Was Handcrafted in Japan
The brand’s first full-range sunglasses collection.
Casablanca‘s Fall/Winter 2022 eyewear collection has landed, and there’s a lot to be impressed by.
Marking the brand’s first full range of sunglasses, this season’s offering seeks to pay tribute to the brand’s signature maximalism, comprised of oversized acetate silhouettes with unmissable Casablanca detailing. Complete with retro-inspired statement metals, the collection offers six distinct styles, including “The Magazine,” “The Memphis,” “The Pilot,” “The Casino,” “The Laurel” and “The Wing.”
Designed and created in-house, each pair in the collection was hand-crafted in Japan, utilizing traditional production techniques. Complete with 18 karat gold branding on the arms, the collection offers a vintage-inspired feel, with hues of pink, brown, green and gold alongside tortoiseshell prints and vivid red accents.
The new range comes shortly after the brand teamed up with Globe-Trotter for a six-piece range of suitcases, drawing inspiration from the British brand’s timeless aesthetic.
