Rick Owens Unveils "BABYGEO" Collection

“Making things for our babies is our new chapter.”

Rick Owens has unveiled a new line called “BABYGEO,” dedicated to the brand’s little ones. Following the many recent births by his relatives and OWENSCORP employees around him, the collection comprises children’s sized takes on the eponymous label’s most distinctive shapes from the Fall/Winter 2022 “STROBE” collection.

“BABYGEO” offers iconic staples such as flight bomber jackets, hooded liners, mountain hoodies, strobe pod shorts and prisoner sweatpants. Other highlights include the short-level tee, basic rib tanks, leggings, beanies and socks — all rendered in classic black and beige alongside the palette of striking FW22 colors. Elsewhere, the release includes a toddler’s and kids’ size offering of the iconic low-cut Ramones and Geobasket sneakers, first introduced in 2021.

Owens shared in a press release, “After 20 years of working together, babies are entering our lives in a big way… My own granddaughters, our head of global press Joanna’s daughter, our head of visuals Luke’s children,  our head of e-commerce Jessica’s son, our Paris head of HR, Gaissiry’s son and more on the way. Like the furniture and clothes we make, it has always been about furnishing our world and meeting our personal needs in the most harmonious way possible. Making things for our babies is our new chapter.”
