Selena Gomez Finally Met BLACKPINK In Person
After filming their video for “Ice Cream” separately during the pandemic.
The moment that we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. Selena Gomez has finally met BLACKPINK members in person. After collaborating on the track, “Ice Cream,” and filming their parts of the music video separately, the K-pop group and musician have finally had the chance to hang out altogether.
Though the collaboration took place approximately two years ago, Gomez had to film her part separately to the group due to COVID restrictions. At last, Gomez was able to meet all members of the group during their Born Pink tour, where she posted a photo of herself with Jennie, Rosé, Jisoo, and Lisa on Instagram with a caption that read “Selpink chillin.”
For those of you who are certain that Gomez has met some of BLACKPINK before, you’re not wrong, as the singer and documentary maker has in fact met Jisoo and Rosé before. In an interview with CR Fashion Book, Gomez had shared that “I had met Jisoo and Rosé at a fashion show a couple of years ago but I can’t wait to meet the other girls in person one day. Shooting the music video was a lot of fun. My videos tend to be a bit moody and they are known for their colourful and fun videos and it was exciting for me to step into their world.”
