The former ‘Mean Girl’ becomes Silicon Valley’s latest fraud.
Hulu has released a first look at The Dropout, the upcoming biopic series starring Amanda Seyfried as disgraced Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes. The Hulu series follows Holmes as she drops out of Stanford University to begin working on her infamous startup.

Once Theranos’ technology proved fraudulent, Holmes was eventually convicted and found guilty on four counts of fraud.
Seyfried is joined by Naveen Andrews who will assume the role of Holmes’ former business partner, not to mention Shameless’ William H. Macy will join the cast as well as Laurie Metcalf, Elizabeth Marvel, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Kate Burton, Stephen Fry, Michel Gill, Michael Ironside, Bill Irwin, Dylan Minnette, Alan Ruck, Sam Waterston and Josh Pais.
