The 2000s are back, and Doja Cat just proved it with her latest Instagram photos featuring a nostalgic beauty moment. The “Woman” singer serves a Bratz Doll-inspired look with her pouty, nude and glossy lips, a cut-creased blue eyeshadow and ’90s-inspired, razor-thin eyebrows, but our favorite thing has got to be her butterfly clips-adorned hairstyle.
Styled in a very 2000s baby ponytail with antenna bangs, Doja’s look is completed with colorful butterfly hair clips that scream Y2K. At this point, it seems like almost every popular noughties-era hairstyle, including wispy up-dos dressed up with throwback hair accessories, has made its way back to the cyclical trend loop. While girlish, mini butterfly clips have been fluttering around for the past year, Doja’s latest look just confirmed that they are here to stay for spring 2022.
