Mizuno Drops 'Evangelion' Collaboration

Featuring co-branded tees, caps and more.

UPDATE (March 30, 2022): Mizuno has released its anticipated Evangelion collaboration.

The team-up is comprised of tees in black, white, purple and red, as well as windbreaker jackets, caps, hats, towels and face masks. As expected, the designs take inspiration from Unit-00, Unit-01 and Unit-02 from the animation series. The Evangelion-themed Mizuno logo, previously revealed in the teaser, is printed on the apparel and accessories.

The collaboration is available for pre-order until April 12 with shipping beginning in mid-August. Those who make purchases of over ¥5,500 JPY (approximately $45 USD) will be gifted a co-branded mousepad. There will be life-sized Evangelion figures on display at select stores in Japan. Head over to Mizuno’s website for more information.

ORIGINAL STORY (March 29, 2022): Mizuno has announced that it has a collaboration with the Japanese animation Evangelion on the way. The team-up follows the sportswear brand’s releases with Patta, BEAMS, Hajime Sorayama and more.

The label teased the upcoming drop with a series of tweets, which feature Evangelion‘s signature purple/green and red/orange colors added to Mizuno’s classic logos. While not much has been revealed so far, we can expect the collaboration to take inspiration from the animation’s Unit-01 and Unit-02 from the Neon Genesis Evangelion series.

Stay tuned as we learn more about the Evangelion x Mizuno collaboration.
