Palace Drops New Capsule Dedicated to Elton John
Spotlighting archive images of the legendary artist.
Palace has teamed up with merchandising service Bravado on a capsule collection inspired by Elton John.
“I’m so excited about my forthcoming collaboration with Palace. I’m always looking to the future, but the range brings back some fantastic memories,” John shared in a press release. “It really captures the essence of youth and freedom from my time on the road in the ‘70s. I’ve never been a skateboarder but that’s not going to stop me from wearing the lot.”
Celebrating his legacy and legendary music career, the drop is comprised of jackets, sweaters and tees featuring archive images of the artist. Standouts include the T-shirts and special edition rug that boast a graphic of John performing at LA’s Dodger Stadium in 1975. Elsewhere the retro velour tracksuit in white or navy sports “EJ” and Palace branding, along with lurex side strips.
Palace’s Elton John range will release both online and offline on March 11 at 11 a.m. in the U.K., 12 p.m. CET in the EU, 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT in the U.S., and 11 a.m. local time on March 12 in Japan and China.
