Universal Standard to Launch Its UltimateS Underwear in 22 Sizes
As well as three different silhouettes – Bikini, High Rise Thong and High Rise Brief.
Universal Standard (US) has unveiled its first-ever underwear line, which will be available in sizes 00 to 40.
“Though we pride ourselves on how Universal Standard has paved the way in the fashion industry over the years, we must hold ourselves accountable and continue to ask – how can we do more?” the brand’s co-founder Alex Waldman said in a press release. “When a designer offers their clothes in sizes that everyone can wear, it makes a statement that says the shopper is welcomed, seen, and considered worthy of that product. All people deserve to have access to such a foundational element of an everyday wardrobe like underwear.”
The underwear delivers comfort and functionality perfect for everyday wear. Arriving in three different silhouettes — Bikini, High Rise Thong and High Rise Brief — the styles come in neutral colorways such as “Pearl Blue,” “Iron” and “Black.” Each piece is crafted from sustainable antimicrobial, moisture-wicking fabric, which prevents the garment from pushing into any areas.
Priced at $18 USD each, US’ UltimateS underwear collection will be available online on March 29.
