Disney finally confirmed the release date of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever at the 2022 CinemaCon. During the event, attendees were treated to the first footage of the upcoming film.

Directed by Ryan Coogler, the sequel reportedly stars Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira reprising their respective roles as Shuri, Nakia and Okoye. Following the tragic death of Chadwick Boseman — the original Black Panther — in 2020, Coogler and Marvel continued the franchise to honor the late actor’s legacy. With T’Challa not present, Shuri, Nakia and Okoye work together to keep Wakanda safe and lead its people. While fans are predicting that Shuri will be the new ruler and the new Black Panther, Disney has yet to confirm whether or not the claims are true.

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will hit theaters on November 11. Stay tuned while we wait for the official trailer to drop in the next few weeks.
