Elizabeth Olsen Shares Advice Sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Gave Her
In regards to Marvel fame.
Elizabeth Olsen has a pretty successful career so far, and thanks to the advice from her older sisters, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, she’s been able to navigate her Marvel fame pretty well.
The actor, who has most recently portrayed Wanda Maximoff AKA the Scarlet Witch in the MCU, revealed the most crucial advice her twin sisters have given her that has made all the difference in her career.
“‘No’ is a full sentence,” Olsen recently told The Independent about what her sisters have told her.
Olsen also talked about her sisters’ success, which began with them acting when they were babies. Eventually, they quit acting and built a fashion empire for themselves.
She added, “I think my sisters are some of the most amazing people to look at, with what they’ve created for themselves and how they conduct themselves. I’m really in awe of what they’ve built, and I do think that came from them having such a healthy perspective — and I could only benefit from that healthy perspective. I think it has informed how I conduct myself.”
Though Olsen is considerate of her twin sisters’ advice now, that wasn’t always the case. “They’ve had so much advice for me, but most of the stuff, when I was younger, I didn’t do ’cause I was like, ‘I’m going to do it myself! You can’t tell me!’” she explained. “And then they were right, and I ended up doing the thing they told me to do. But I had to fail first, on my own.”
