Watch the First Official Trailer for the Indie Horror Film 'Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’

The famous bear becomes a serial killer.

UPDATE (August 31, 2022): Back in May, we got the first look at the upcoming film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey. Since then, Jagged Edge Productions has dropped the official trailer to the indie horror movie, and it’s beyond creepy, to say the least.

The trailer starts out with Christopher Robin all grown up, visiting 100 Acre Wood with what appears to be his fiancée. Christopher is there to try and reconnect with Pooh and the rest of the gang and hopefully introduce them to his partner. However, things have changed since Christopher left or since he technically “abandoned” Pooh and his friends. For starters, Eeyore is dead and 100 Acre looks eerie and scary. Now Pooh is seemingly seeking revenge for being left behind.

ORIGINAL STORY (May 26, 2022): Things just got dark for Winnie the Pooh and friends. Upcoming horror film Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey reimagines the iconic children’s book character as a serial killer.

According to IMBD, the film is “a horror retelling of the famous legend of Winnie the Poo.” The cast includes Craig David Dowsett Pooh, Maria Taylor as Maria, Danielle Ronald as Zoe, May Kelly as Tina, Natasha Tosini as Lara, Amber Doig-Thorne as Alice and Chris Cordell as Piglet. It still remains unclear if other characters, such as Christopher Robin, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo, will be included in the movie.

Up until recently, Disney had the exclusive rights to the licensed character; however, on January 1, A.A. Milne’s work entered the public domain, which means anyone can make their own adaptations of the classic characters.

Stay tuned for updates on Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey.
