Lizzo Drops Single "Grrrls" Off Upcoming Album 'SPECIAL'
Following her viral track “About Damn Time.”
Lizzo is gearing up for the release of her upcoming album SPECIAL with another single release. Titled “Grrrls,” the track follows up on the viral tune “About Damn Time.”
Produced by Max Martin and Benny Blanco, “Grrrls” serves as a preview of Lizzo’s new album, which is set to drop on July 15. The release will be followed by the musician’s The Special Tour across North America, kicking off in Sunrise, Florida on September 23 and concluding in Los Angeles, California on November 18.
“‘Cause that’s my girl, we codependent/If she with it, then I’m with it/Yeah, we tussle, mind your business/Zu, zu, zu, zu, zu-su-lu/That’s my girl, we CEOs/And dancin’ like a C-E-ho/We about to throw them bows/Let’s f-ck it up,” Lizzo sings about girl boss power, leading into the catchy chorus: “Where my girls, where my girls at?
