Martine Rose Rumored to Succeed Virgil Abloh at Louis Vuitton Men's

The luxury brand’s CEO was seen front row at the designer’s recent SS23 show.

Martine Rose could potentially be the next designer to succeed the late Virgil Abloh in Louis Vuitton‘s menswear department.

The rumors surfaced after the house’s CEO Michael Burke was seen sitting front row at Rose’s Spring/Summer 2023 show in London last weekend, as reported by Vogue Business. Neither Louis Vuitton nor Rose has responded to the rumors as of writing, while the luxury house is slated to showcase its next menswear show in Paris on June 23.

Rose founded her namesake label in 2007, recently debuting a collaboration with Nike on her latest SS23 runway. In 2017, the designer was shortlisted for the LVMH Prize and nominated for the British Fashion Council’s British Menswear Designer of the Year award in 2017 and 2018. The creative has also worked with Demna at Balenciaga.

Stay tuned as we learn more about who will succeed Abloh at Louis Vuitton Men’s.
