Millie Bobby Brown Is "So Down" To Play Halsey in a Biopic
“It’s kind of uncanny how much we look alike,” the songstress told Jimmy Fallon.
During her interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show earlier this week, Halsey revealed that Millie Bobby Brown would be the perfect person to play her in a biopic.
Explaining the concept behind her new song “So Good,” the artist shares that she wrote the track for her partner, Alev Aydin. Aydin, a screenwriter, met Halsey in 2017 when he was assigned to write a movie about the star. After Aydin followed her on tour and gathered information about the singer, Halsey wanted to know more about the man who was writing a film about her. As a result, they realized how much in common they had and fell in love.
Fallon was then curious about the progress of the biopic. “There’s a conflict of interest now because he’s a main character. But he got to direct the music video instead, which was really cool,” Halsey explained. “I was thinking about who could play you,” Fallon said, followed by him suggesting that Millie Bobby Brown would be the perfect actor to take on the role. “Millie would be great, but I don’t really think I’m famous enough to cast Millie,” Halsey replied and continued, “It’s kind of uncanny how much we look alike. It’s like, ‘Oh, no. We actually just look like sisters.’”
The day after the show, the Stranger Things star shared a snippet of the interview on her Instagram Story and wrote, “sooooo down.” While nothing has been confirmed yet, both parties seem on board with the idea.
