MSCHF Unveils Warped Nike AF1-Inspired Sneakers
Wavy details all over.
MSCHF, the collective that has dealt with multiple lawsuits with brands like Nike and Vans for creating lookalike shoes, is back with another release. This time around, the label seems to have taken inspiration from the classic Nike Air Force 1, adding warped details to the staple silhouette.
Wavy elements are found all over the Super Normal sneaker, with the white leather upper highlighted with a distorted toe box, lacing system and more. MSCHF’s logo receives the same treatment on the tongue tag, while the heel tab is adorned with “!!!” branding.
As with previous lawsuits involving the “Satan Shoes” created in partnership with Lil Nas X, Nike could possibly take legal action once again given the Super Normal sneaker’s similarities to the AF1. Stay tuned as we learn more.
The MSCHF Super Normal sneaker is slated to drop on June 23 for $145 USD on the label’s app.
