Anya Taylor-Joy and her boyfriend Malcolm McRae have reportedly wed at a small ceremony in the U.S.
The couple has been together for one year and revealed their engagement a mere few weeks ago when spotted walking around Sydney with Taylor-Joy’s green-diamond engagement ring in plain sight. The Queen’s Gambit star is due to return to Australia to complete filming for the Mad Max: Fury Road prequel Furiosa, so we don’t expect to see the couple on a celebratory honeymoon any time soon.
Taylor-Joy and McRae have yet to confirm the marriage themselves, but since the pair began dating in 2021 it appears they’ve gone from strength to strength, so we wouldn’t be surprised if they’d officially tied the knot. In fact, in an interview with British Vogue earlier this year, Taylor-Joy told the publication that “I’ve finally found someone who will happily sit in silence with me reading. We’re basically 80 years old and seven at the same time and it works really well,” with McRae also describing himself as “besotted” in an Instagram post.
