Hoyeon Jung Celebrates Emmy Nomination
‘Squid Game’ makes history for being the first non-English series to be nominated.
South Korean actor Hoyeon Jung has just been nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Drama Supporting Actor as Netflix‘s Squid Game makes history as the first non-English language series to be ever nominated.
Jung initially began her career as a model and was applauded by the Instagram account @modelsdot as they shared an old quote from Jung, stating, “My dream [is] actually acting. I love watching movies and even the music in the movies.” It seems like dreams are truly coming true for the 28 year-old as she recently won a Screen Actors Guild Award for Dramatic Female Actor.
