Drake's "Certified Lover Boy" Air Force 1 Wasn't Cancelled After All

The road to release for Drake‘s NOCTA x Air Force 1 “Certified Lover Boy” has been a long one. Images of the collaboration began circulating in February 2021 with fans expecting the shoe to drop alongside the album. While Certified Lover Boy saw a September 2021 release, no update on the AF1 was provided, spurring cancellation rumors among fans.

Official images of the CLB AF1 have finally landed — a healthy indicator of a release date in the coming weeks. The shoe is heavily informed by the classic all-white Nike Air Force 1, but swaps out the traditional “NIKE” midsole branding for “Love You Forever” text. Miniature hearts on the shoe’s outsole follow the lover boy theme and NOCTA branding hits up the heel tab. The shoe comes ready for personalization with an array of translucent blue beads and includes a premium set of laces with metal aglets.

Stay tuned for official drop details as they become confirmed.

Elsewhere in footwear, get up close and personal with three YEEZY Day releases.
