Selena Gomez Teams up With Rema on "Calm Down" Remix
It’s been almost a year since the singer has released new music.
Selena Gomez is back with new music as the singer, actor and beauty mogul teased an appearance on Nigerian musician Rema‘s track “Calm Down.”
Posting what has to be the most adorable Instagram video, the Rare Beauty founder gushes over the rapper, saying that she “couldn’t be more honored” to be on the remix. “An all-new version of @heisrema ‘Calm Down’ is coming 8/26 — so excited for this one,” she wrote. The upcoming single marks the first time since Only Murders in the Building actor has released music since her collaboration with Coldplay on “Let Somebody Go” in October 2021.
This may just be the beginning as the starlet teased new music to makeup artist Mikayla Nogueira during a red carpet interview with, “Should we expect anything else from Rare Beauty this year?” the beauty pro asked Gomez. “Well, maybe and maybe some music,” she responded.
“Calm Down” debuts Friday, August 26 and will be available to stream on Apple Music and Spotify. Take a peek at the adorable video below.
