Korean Label why not us Unveils FW22 Collection, "new classic"

Rising South Korean label why not us has announced its Fall/Winter 2022 collection titled “new classic.”
The range takes inspiration from director Paul Thomas Anderson’s 2021 film Licorice Pizza — more specifically its main character Alana (played by Alana Haim). Each look takes influence from the ’70s character and what she would have looked like if she existed in the current age. The result is a balance between the liveliness of the ’70s, along with the modern and minimalist feel of the 2020s.
Standout pieces include boot-cut pants, as well as corduroy trousers that are paired with mock neck sleeveless tops and cropped sweaters. The collection also introduces skirt in different lengths, from maxi-length denim designs to mini versions.
See the full collection above. The first two “new classic” drops are now available online, while the third and fourth installments are scheduled for mid-October.
